Tillandsia bulbosa and Citrine Crystal Cluster
A stunning combination. A unique, living air plant (Tillandsia bulbosa) paired with a large, show stopping, citrine crystal cluster. Picture that sitting on a vintage credenza or walnut side table...wow.
How to Care for Your Air Plant and Crystals
Your air plant will thrive if placed in an indirectly bright and fairly humid location. To care for your unique air plant and crystal combination, we recommend dunking it in a basin of dechlorinated water weekly (or every 2-3 weeks in winter months) or mist well every 2-3 days. Unlike other air plants, do not leave T. bulbosa submerged, as it will absorb too much water in its bulb. Shake off excess water well and allow to drain. As air plants normally gain nutrients from their host plants in a rich jungle environment, adding a liquid bromeliad fertilizer to the dunking or misting water monthly is also recommended. The use of a diffuser can help to increase localized humidity, in areas where air quality is naturally drier or if your air plant has consistently dry tips.
Your natural crystal cluster will continue to sparkle and shine for you, with a periodic dusting or a quick little shower in your sink.
